5: Color Blocking
Daring and dramatic, color blocking is a super fun and exciting way to "spice up" any outfit. Color blocking refers to the mix-match and emphasis of bright colors in a piece of clothing or outfit. This will be super popular this summer because of the glorious vibrant colors and the promising fact that color blocking makes mix-matching socially acceptable! Although many designers are doing the work for us by creating statement pieces that contain mixed up color patterns, I find it more enjoyable to do it on my own! For example, a neon yellow a-line skirt with a magenta button up shirt. This Summer(and Fall) will be filled with color blocking...you don't want to miss out on this hot new trend! |
